Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in various pharmacy settings. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, patient care, and pharmacy operations.

Duties:
- Prepare medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and timely
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Assist in the preparation of sterile products using aseptic technique
- Support pharmacists in various pharmacy-related tasks
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is advantageous
- Proficiency in IV infusion and inhalation medications is desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
