Job Description
- Construct wood structures including framing
- Perform minor sheet rock installation and repairs
- Cut openings through roofs and walls.
- Assist to install venting and fixtures related to the pre-fabricated fireplace industry (experience not required)
- Be able to lift 40 pounds
- Refer to manuals as needed
- Ladder and roof safety setup
- Previous experience in the construction industry.
- General understanding of residential home construction materials
- Ability to frame and install sheet rock
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions from manufacturer's diagrams and manuals
- Ability to identify and solve problems effectively
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift objects
- Comfortable working on roofs and with ladders
