There are Full-Time and Part-Time positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend. The Full-Time Position would be working as both Cook and Culinary Assistant;
Part-Time position is working either as a Cook or Culinary Assistant.
Cook Hours : 10 : 30 am to 7 : 00 pm
Culinary Assistant Hours : 6 : 00 am to 2 : 00 pm; 12 : 00 pm to 8 : 00 pm
What does a Cook / Culinary Assistant do?
- Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
- Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What does a Cook / Culinary Assistant require?
- Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check.
