We are seeking to hire a reliable, dependable and knowledgeable Shipyard Coating Quality Assurance Technician to monitor quality standards and perform quality inspections to ensure conformance to customer specifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Lead Painter at UHP Projects, you will be responsible for training employees according to the UHP Projects Standards and Procedures, and ensuring that all duties are carried out properly and within the timeframe prescribed by job sheets and Crew Leader. The following qualifications and benefits apply to this position:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to efficiently carry out painting related duties in a professional and workmanlike manner
• Knowledge of products
• Ability to perform all painting functions without supervision in a competent, timely manner with the highest degree of craftsmanship and in accordance with the UHP Projects Standards and Procedures
• Knowledge of the proper use of equipment (ladders, lifts, paint sprayers, etc.)
• Ability to keep an accurate account of each employee working on his particular job
• Monitor employee attendance, appearance, language, and proper use of equipment
