Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, RI is looking for a bartender to join our team for the Summer 2024 Season (May-mid-October). We are located on 170 Wellington Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with members, take orders, and serve drinks
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay member focused and nurture an excellent member experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate (TIPS we can provide)
