NSG, Inc. is Hiring a Security Guard (Newport, KY - Full TIme) Near Newport, KY
Note: This position takes place mostly outside rain or shine.Must be able to work the following set of days/hours:Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00p-11:00p (40 Hours Per Week)
These positions pay $18.00 per hour with weekly pay every Friday!
Job Duties
- Patrolling parking lot
- Addressing trespassers loitering on the property
- Conducting walking tours of neighboring buildings (this includes stairs)
- Reporting any incidents to proper authorities
- Maintaining a secure site and addressing violators of policy or process
- 1 year of security or relevant experience (preferred but not required)
- Background in military, law enforcement, or corrections preferred (not required)
- Ability to pass a complete pre-employment background check
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact cordially and professionally with the public at all times
- Walking and standing for extended periods of time
