INTERLOCKS Salon is looking for an experienced buyer in the beauty industry, ready to join an award-winning salon team, to grow retail offerings.

Awarded Best Salon by Northshore Magazine 2023, INTERLOCKS is located in the heart of historic Newburyport, MA, and is nationally recognized for over 20 years by Salon Today Magazine for its first-rate beauty services provided by 50 team members comprised of award-winning licensed stylists, aestheticians, and makeup artists, as well as a medical team of nurses and laser technicians, supported by superb customer service and administrative teams.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience as a Buyer
• Has familiarity with beauty industry and /pr beauty brands
• Has ability to develop professional relationships with brand reps and coworkers
• Is dependable, accountable, and punctual
• Enjoys being part of a motivated and non-competitive team
• Previous experience with s experience with Meevo software is beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Research and development of beauty brands, delivering the latest trends, newly released products, and luxury curated selection of retail offerings
• Weekly, monthly and seasonal ordering
• Receiving, labeling and merchandising products
• Maintain inventory management system of all retail
• Seasonal and promotional merchandising (ie. holidays)
• Collaborative development of retail promotions with brand reps and salon management team
• Maintain caring and professional relationships with brand reps and co-workers
