Accurate Mechanical is growing and looking to add experienced Commercial Kitchen Appliance Service Technicians to our team.

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Commercial Kitchen Appliance Service Technician to maintain and repair our customers’ systems including but not limited to: steamers, ovens, mixers, fryers, and griddles. The Commercial Kitchen Appliance Service Technician will assist with repairing and calibrating systems, and replacing various components such as gas valves, water fill valves, thermostats and control boards. You will diagnose problems, explain these to customers in clear, non-technical terms, relay costs to customers, and offer alternative solutions.

To ensure success your customer skills should be as good as your technical aptitude, and you need to be well-versed in safety precautions. Top candidates are detail-oriented, organized and friendly.

• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing kitchen hot side systems, including warranty work.
• Troubleshooting defective kitchen equipment to make diagnoses.
• Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning, adjusting, and maintaining Commercial Kitchen Equipment
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
  Maintaining service truck.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Health and Safety Act.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• 2 year commercial kitchen equipment experience. 
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills. (HVAC and refrigeration skills are preferred but not required)
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to fulfill on-call rotation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
