The primary purpose of the Occupational Therapist position is to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages. Occupational Therapist will evaluate referred patients, to implement and administer a comprehensive therapeutic intervention to restore and maximize function or reduce pain, and to prevent disability following disease or injury.
Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. (Candidates that are near completion of the degree requirements and will be eligible for licensure requirements will be considered). Eligible to practice as an Occupational Therapist either with a temporary or permanent license in the State of New Jersey as verified by the Board of Consumer Affairs. Permanent and temporary license must be maintained in good standing. Must be certified by the American Heart Association for BLS for the Healthcare Provider. Must be competent in computer applications as needed to complete the job duties and/or required by the department.
