ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Newark, DE. Summary: As a Pricing Analyst within the Instrument, Pricing unit, you will play a critical role in the management and operation of our global asset pricing service. This service is integral to multiple lines of business across the organization and is one of our core offerings. You will be responsible for the daily and monthly operations of our index calculation engine, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of services to our clients. Responsibilities: Index Calculation and Management:
  • Execute daily and monthly index operations using our calculation engine
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of index calculations and data
  • Monitor index processes and systems, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies
Client Interaction And Support
  • Collaborate with the Global Index Research Group to address client queries and requests
  • Provide strategic support to clients regarding index products and solutions
  • Engage with institutional investors and ETF providers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions
Market Research And Product Development
  • Conduct fixed income market research to develop benchmark products and custom solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to enhance our offerings
  • Contribute to the development and commercialization of new index services and analytical tools
Process Optimization And Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline index operations and improve efficiency
  • Implement new index analytics tools and platforms to enhance client service
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with preference in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in Fixed Income, Fund Valuation, Pricing, or other related roles
  • Demonstrate an understanding and interest in bonds/financial markets and products
  • Knowledge of industry activities - particularly corporate actions, index benchmarking, stock markets and fixed income products
  • Pricing vendor knowledge, i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters a plus
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-look ups
  • Analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate customer focus and follow-up skills
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work until 7PM EST and US holidays for global market close operations
  • Strong database/SQL knowledge a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
