Job Duties Include But Not Limited ToInstructional Facilitator
- Instructional Coaching
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their instructional practices.
- Provide assistance to teachers by modeling lessons in the classroom.
- Conduct classroom observations/walks and provide feedback to teachers on their instructional techniques and student engagement while working with each teacher’s PGP goals.
- Assist teachers in developing and implementing lesson plans that meet diverse student needs.
- Curriculum Support
- Collaborate with teachers to align curriculum with state standards and district goals.
- Provide resources and materials to support effective teaching and learning.
- Assist in the selection and implementation of instructional materials and technology.
- Data Analysis and Assessment:
- Analyze student performance data to identify areas of need and inform instructional practices.
- Support teachers in using formative and summative assessments to guide instruction. This includes but is not limited to, ATLAS, STAR, and MAP assessments.
- Develop and monitor intervention plans for students needing additional support.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with school administrators, teachers, and other instructional facilitators to ensure cohesive and consistent instructional practices across the school.
- Facilitate grade-level and subject-area team meetings to promote collaborative planning and sharing of best practices.
- Instructional Leadership:
- Stay current with educational research, trends, and best practices to improve instructional support continuously.
- Lead and participate in school improvement initiatives and committees.
- Serve as a role model for effective instructional practices and lifelong learning.
