Environmental Scientist 2

TTI Environmental, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time position for Environmental Scientist 2 in the Environmental Consulting Division. TTI is seeking individuals local to Northern NJ/NYC Metro. TTI is an integrated environmental services contractor. Experienced, certified, and licensed professionals work directly with clients to provide sound solutions to environmental challenges. Founded in 1985, TTI services government, industrial, commercial, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. Viable candidates must live in Northern NJ or one of the five boroughs of NYC. This is an on-site, out of office position – working out of clients’ sites.

Environmental Scientist 2 Responsibilities

• Due diligence projects including TSAs, Phase I/II ESAs, RSRA in accordance with ASTM International standards
• Performance or oversight of field activities and appropriate reporting for regulatory cases in northern NJ and NY
• Sampling of soil, groundwater, vapor, and indoor air
• Reporting in accordance with state regulatory requirements

Environmental Scientist 2 Qualifications and Requirements

• A B.S. in a related field such as Environmental Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or Environmental Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years direct regional experience in the environmental consulting field
• OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operator Certification a plus
• Experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or Air Permitting a plus
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to self-manage in a remote position
• Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with ability to write clear, concise and thorough environmental reports
• Must have a personal vehicle for independent transportation to work sites when required
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
• Must live in Northern NJ or one of the 5 boroughs of NYC

Compensation: $45k-$55k annually, commensurate with credentials, knowledge, education, and experience.
