Field Technician

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Field Technician in Ft. Wayne, IN for a full-time position to operate, monitor, and maintain gas migration control and recovery systems throughout the area!

Duties :

• Properly operate, monitor, and maintain gas collection system on a timely and cost-effective basis
• Field sampling of various test locations including wells, probes, headers, blowers, flares, pumps, etc.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain various analytical and monitoring equipment
• Collect and evaluate / interpret scientific data; Communicate observations and technical data verbally and in writing with supervisor and clients
• Record and maintain daily field logs reporting data collected, field observations, actions taken, and recommended actions to be taken

Compensation :

• $19 / hr - $22 / hr, depending on experience
• M / V / D insurance
• 401k with employer match

Qualifications :

• Related experience in afield such as industrial, mechanical, construction, environmental, or solid waste strongly preferred, but not required
• Understand and follow regulatory requirements related to the work
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and read maps and construction plans required
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing is required
• Must be able to meet physical demands of position driving, walking, lifting, carrying equipment up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, operating equipment, using hand tools, and working outside.
