Child Family Services is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor (Team Leader) Near New Bedford, MA

NEW BEDFORD, MA – Child & Family Services is looking for a Clinical Supervisor for our Church Street, New Bedford Clinic location. CFS prides itself on providing excellent clinical supervision and support to all Clinicians and provides clinical supervision towards licensure. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and leadership to assigned clinical staff. This individual reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services, New Bedford.

This is a full-time, salary, exempt position starting at $34 per hour - $70,720 annually

Qualifications:

  • Must be actively licensed as an LICSW or LMHC in Massachusetts
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evening hours
  • Promote high staff morale and team atmosphere within department
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency’s needs.

  • Provide supervision and leadership to clinical staff and interns including regular clinical supervision, coaching and training, and record review
  • Ensure clinical staff use appropriate interventions, focusing on evidence-based and trauma-informed practices
  • Support assigned clinical staff in meeting expectations including productivity, quality of service delivery, maintaining appropriate client records, and following policies and procedures
  • Conduct clinical assessments and participate in urgent appointments as part of our open access model
  • Option to carry a small caseload
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of clinic staff and maintenance of staffing schedule including office assignments
  • Participate in clinical service planning and policy and procedure implementation within a managed care framework
  • Work and collaborate with other systems, both internally and externally, to assist in providing the highest quality services
  • Attend required meetings regarding program service delivers
  • Participate within the multi-disciplinary team as needed
  • Member of the CQI committee; participate in CQI activities including program development, program evaluation and outcomes studies

  • Demonstrates skills for communication and interaction across cultures, including the ability to recognize and manage personal behaviors, moods, and impulses to create an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming climate within the agency
