Our client has an immediate opening for a CAD Technician in their New Braunfels location. This is a work-onsite role with a Civil Engineering consulting firm The ideal candidate must be professional, friendly, and dependable with a polite demeanor and positive attitude. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician or even an entry level Drafter to gain experience in a small, family-oriented company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Use AutoCAD daily to work and support the Design Team.
• Have a working knowledge of CAD standards, Civil 3D features and annotation styles, line styles, sheet set manager and drawing setup.
• Work with engineers and senior designers.
• Communicate effectively with Project Management team.
• Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or daily, as changes occur in project workload.

Requirements:

• Technical degree or certification in Drafting.
• Autodesk Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge in any of the following strongly preferred: site layout, roadway design, grading, hydrology, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals,
• Ability to work efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and other tools.
• Strong software skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
