MGR Workforce is Hiring a Daycare Teacher Near New, TX
Job Summary:
Salary: $16 Per Hour
Location: San Antonio, TX
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Provide individualized attention and care to each child, taking into account their unique needs and abilities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and coworkers through open communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Monitor children's health and well-being, including administering medication and responding to medical emergencies as needed.
- Supervise children during outdoor play, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Collaborate with other daycare staff members to plan and coordinate special events, field trips, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Adhere to all daycare policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to health, safety, and sanitation.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents, and coworkers.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- Current CPR and first aid certification preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements for childcare providers.
