As a Food Service Worker you will:
- Incorporate basic food preparation skills utilizing standardized quantified recipes to assure retention of nutritive values, palatability, and appetizing appearance of food served to clients.
- Review menus and production sheets to determine type and quantities of assigned items to be prepared and plans cooking so food is ready at designated time.
- Portion foods attractively and accurately as specified in recipe and/or menu.
- Maintain work area in a neat, clean, and orderly manner in accordance with departmental standards.
- Assist in the distribution and set-up of patient/resident trays as assigned.
- Assist in preparation and set-up of catering events.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Knowledge of foods and methods of preparation.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Completion of ServSafe within 90 days of hire.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience quantity cooking, preferably in a healthcare facility.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $22.50 per hour (competitive and commensurate with experience)
