Our Materials Coordinator position will support the daily tasks in the shipping and receiving office. This full-time hourly position will work a 12-hour shift from 6AM - 6PM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Duties and ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Respond to e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner, and assist drivers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor shipments and deliveries, to coordinate them to meet load ready time (LRTC) for the production line.
• Keep all departments notified of product or trailer shortages to ensure we meet timelines.
• Perform general office duties to include proper filing, completing required daily reports, and data analysis.
• Provide excellent service at the shipping window to process, prepare, and deliver of bill of ladings.
• Keep leadership aware of any concerns within the operation you may come across.

REQUIRED Knowledge, skills, and abilities :

• Will need to work weekends, holidays, and overtime according to work schedule.
• Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift.
• Strong customer service, organization, attention to detail.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, and accept additional assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Warehouse Management Systems (such as SAP).

Preferred Education and Experience :

• Previous experience working in warehouse environment.
• Experience working in an office setting supporting operations.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, and look at a computer monitor for most of shift.
• Ability to repetitively twist or turn; stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.
