Suburban Village Collision Center is Hiring a Collision / Auto Body Technician (No Fixed or Weekend Schedules Required) Near Needham, MA

Suburban Village Collision Center is looking for an experienced Automotive Body / Collision Technician to join our high-capacity auto body shop.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess and evaluate vehicle damage
  • Perform necessary auto body work, paint and replace parts as needed
  • Identify and order materials and parts needed for repairs
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Communicate with the designated manager and staff on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work on vehicles
  • Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when working with all tools and equipment
  • Adhere to best practices when working in the auto body shop by reporting any accidents or incidents to management as soon as possible

Qualifications

  • Ability to complete start to finish jobs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Has in-depth knowledge and experience in collision repair methods
  • Proficient in using industry standard collision repair equipment and tools including frame straightening equipment and welding tools
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position
