The Elkhorn facility is expanding operations to manufacture animal vaccines and biologics. This position will perform the following duties: Ensures quality product by knowing and maintaining company and departmental standards and procedures. Perform sterile operations according to Standard Production Processes (SPPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Operations of Portable Tanks: Sterilization In Place (SIP) and Clean In Place (CIP). Additional duties as needed: cleaning of small equipment, media preparation, autoclave operation. Sanitization or sterilization of designated areas and equipment. Troubleshoot and perform adjustments of equipment as required. Ensure all assigned equipment and components are staged for assigned operation. Maintain documentation and other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. This is a 2nd shift Monday - Friday position daily hours are 1500 – 2330 (3:00pm – 11:30pm). Education Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent required Required Experience and Skills: Ability to operate manufacturing equipment. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills are required. General knowledge of reading, mathematics, using both U.S. customary and metric systems and computer skills is required. Ability to communicate and work in cooperation with other employees in a manufacturing environment. Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test. Preferred Experience and Skills: Two years of relevant manufacturing experience and a basic understanding of electromechanical systems, manufacturing procedures, techniques, and equipment. Working knowledge of mechanics and the ability to troubleshoot line equipment preferred. Working knowledge of cGMP and inventory control concepts strongly preferred. An understanding of aseptic techniques and procedures preferred.
