Yazoo Brewing is a Nashville craft brewer of award-winning beers such as Hefeweizen, SUE, and our Embrace The Funk series, as well as favorites such as Pale Ale, Dos Perros, Gerst and more.

We are a family-owned and operated business, brewing fresh and inspired beers for Music City and beyond since 2003. We are in our 20th year of business, in our new 25,000 sq ft brewery along the Cumberland River in the Nashville suburb of Madison, TN.

Responsibilities

The position is as a packaging technician working with a team on our bottling, canning, and kegging lines. The job responsibilities will vary day to day based on our production schedule, but will include :

• Setting up and sanitizing the bottling, canning, or kegging lines
• Cleaning and filling kegs on our semi-automated keg line
• Stocking the various packaging assembly machines with six-packs, boxes, tape, labels, etc.
• Inspecting cases of bottles or cans coming off the line
• Palletizing full cases of cans or bottles onto a pallet for shipment
• Performing CIP cycles on our canning, bottling, or kegging lines
• Performing CIP cycles on packaging tanks

The job requirements are :

• A high school diploma or GED
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 lb boxes
• A positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently once trained
• Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing plant, or even better, a brewery, is a plus, but is not required
• Forklift certification is a plus

Pay and Benefits :

This is an entry level position in our company, with a starting salary range between $41,600 and $43,000. We offer a company-paid health insurance plan for you and your family, including dental, vision, and disability insurance.
