The Higgins Firm is Hiring a Paralegal Near Nashville, TN

US AND THE JOB

The Higgins Firm is a midsized personal injury law firm. We are looking for an experienced legal assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, discovery, updating clients and maintaining case files. The ideal candidate will have a strong client communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Once the assistant has shown an understanding of our systems they can move to a hybrid schedule.

Our case management system is filevine and we use Microsoft teams for in office collaboration.

We offer performance bonuses, match 401 and are a pretty good group to work with…I promise

Responsibilities:

Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Conduct legal research and analysis of case law and statutes.

Organize and manage case files, including electronic files.

Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions.

Maintain communication with clients, witnesses, and experts.

Prepare exhibits for trial.

Review documents for accuracy and completeness.

Conduct investigations to locate witnesses and obtain statements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
