Title: Business Analytics Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN, 37228 (Hybrid)
Location: Fully Remote with Optional Hybrid in Nashville, TNDuration:9.5 Months
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CSTDutiesAs a Business Analyst on the Medicare Advantage team, candidates would be responsible for the engagement and interaction of business owners, vendors, and IT personnel as it relates to Service Operations Fulfillment projects, documentation, and vendor management. This includes data validations and fulfillment production, developing test scenarios, business requirements, job aid development, and audit support for correspondence activities.
  • This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on a challenge and wants to learn more about the Medicare business and fulfillment operations. Candidates would have an opportunity to work with various partners such as provider operations, enrollment, fulfillment, claims, technology and others.
  • Develops, designs, and maintains business project artifacts with version control including correspondence development and translation management.
  • Coordinates with internal partners and vendors for business project development and production maintenance including business technical documentation and vendor mapping.
  • Prepares and maintains policy, procedure, and job aid documentation for internal processes.
  • Ensures vendor and matrix partners have appropriate documentation for Fulfillment related activities/processes and maintains version control.
  • Performs and/or supports internal, state, and federally regulated audits related to Fulfillment activities.
  • Assists with vendor set-up and maintenance of correspondence as well as coordination of testing.
  • Understands, anticipates, and proposes solutions to internal business partner needs and works to prevent issues by taking steps to proactively plan with matrix partners.
  • Analyzes benefits by line of business for appropriate table or documentation maintenance and set-up.
  • Supports senior analysts and business leads for test case development and documentation.
  • Provide business support for Annual Enrollment benefit set-ups, new benefit plan options, and new market/plan expansions.
  • Proactively and continuously ensures adherence to project and job documentation set forth by IT and Compliance partners.
  • Assists with any standardization projects across platforms and processes to streamline efficiency.
Skills
  • 2 years of professional experience, healthcare / Medicare Advantage is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (lookups, data management, validations, analysis, and reporting)
  • Experience with eligibility systems is a plus.
  • Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Medicare eligibility and benefits/claims experience is a plus.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
  • Technical Writing and documentation experience is a plus.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED and above
