POSITION: Board Certifies Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)LOCATION: District WideREPORTING TO: Special Education DirectorWORK YEAR: 2023-2024 SYSALARY: $44,200 - $91,202 - Competive Benefits and SalaryQUALIFICATIONS: Teaching applicants must be NH certified or eligible to teach Special Education and have knowledge of Special Education practices, procedures and regulations. Must be BCBA certified.Summary ResponsibilitiesA Teacher in the Nashua School District is highly qualified for the delivery of specified course content, uses effective strategies for differentiation, interacts positively, professionally, showing respect with students and parents, expects students to learn and not fail, actively engages students in lessons that are planned around grade level expectations and enhance critical thinking skills. Teachers implement instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. The effective teacher inspires and empowers students in their own learning and collaborates with their peers regularly to align curriculum and enhance the instructional environment towards gains in student performance goals.
