Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, helping to ensure patients receive quality care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Perform office tasks as needed to maintain efficient operations

Skills:

- Proficiency in aseptic technique
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience with pediatric dental care is a plus
- Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous
- Strong anatomy knowledge for dental procedures
- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately
- Competence in medical imaging techniques
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is beneficial

Pay: $20.78 - $21.84 per hour
