Position Summary
Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated body parts. Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, film developing for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician physicians as required. Performs laboratory testing, monitors test results, assures test quality and validity; communicates results in a timely manner. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible.
