Eaton is Hiring a Materials Supervisor Near Nacogdoches, TX

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Materials Supervisor. This role is based out of our Nacogdoches, TX location.
The Planning and Scheduling Supervisor will be an integral member of Nacogdoches Supply Chain Team, with responsibilities aimed at on-time customer delivery through execution of the strategic and tactical supply chain plan. Production planning and scheduling for the Nacogdoches facility’s supply chain and will drive materials management best practices to achieve the sales and production schedules, meet customer requirements, align plant capacity, optimize the utilization of the workforce, and minimize manufacturing costs. This individual is also responsible for internal materials replenishment strategy to meet inventory DOH and excess & obsolete management targets
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What You’ll Do
  • Direct management of the production planners, schedulers, production order pouching, ECN management and other related SCM activities
  • Ensures that production activities are scheduled in a manner, which will make efficient operations possible, and at the same time, assure the fulfillment of customer delivery requirements.
  • Responsible for engaging the production plan of the various materials, parts, and subassemblies required by the plant. Drives for prompt resolution and corrective actions related to material shortages.
  • Responsible to maintain and coordinate activities to ensure vital plant metrics, including but not limited to; Customer On-time delivery, Backlog, past due Work Orders/Schedules, etc
  • Leverages the annual and monthly operating plans to determine appropriate objectives and performance expectations for the planning and scheduling team.
  • Train and educate the scheduling and planning team on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other related tools.
  • Work with Operations to provide monthly and quarterly shipment forecasts based on capacity and material availability
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing.
  • Support preparation and execution of annual physical inventory process
  • Participate in and lead business processes improvement events such as Continuous Improvement Framework, kaizens and workshops in order to improve processes and reduce waste
  • Develop and implement procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function
  • Actively participate in process improvement and create/drive adherence to standard work for team.
  • Perform ad-Hoc analysis as assigned.
QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a Supply Chain field
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience with SAP
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years SAP knowledge strongly preferred
