Our client, a leading organization in the field of industrial automation, is seeking a Senior Controls Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Controls Technician, you will play a crucial role within the Engineering Department, supporting various production teams. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Job Title: Senior Controls TechnicianLocation: Nacogdoches, TXPay Range: $ 25-30/hrWhat's the Job?
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex automated equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical/control problems, including non-routine issues.
- Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to read/write programs, interpret wiring diagrams, and solve malfunctions.
- Work independently to meet project deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Assist in training junior technicians through on-the-job guidance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical and controls system work.
- Strong understanding of PLC-based control products (PLC5, PLC 500, RSLOGIX 5000/Studio) is a must.
- Familiarity with VFDs, DC Motor Controllers, and NFPA 70 Electrical Code is preferred.
- Experience with low, medium, and high voltage troubleshooting and repair is essential.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills are key.
