Job Description
Nsite mortgage, an established and growing mortgage lender, is seeking an experienced loan officer assistant/Jr loan officer. This position supports the team in the loan origination process as well as performing daily administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the loan officer with lead/client follow up and networking events promoting Nsite
Mortgage
- Establish, develop and maintain client referral relationships with Realtors, builders, Developers, CPA’s, financial planners and make sales calls on potential or existing customers in order to develop new business and/or retain existing business
- Guide prospective clients through the loan application process, and gather information to ensure that an informed loan decision is made
- Educate loan applicants about various residential mortgage loan options, answer questions and provide additional information to continue nurturing the relationship
- Provide professional, consistent service to borrowers and internal business partners by responding promptly to all correspondence
- Follow all company guidelines and loan procedures
- Keep CRM information current
- Work closely with in office agents
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- NMLS license is required
- Willingness to work varying hours as needed for client communication
- Minimum 3 years of mortgage experience in sales/processing/LOA/underwriting
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage lending requirements and regulations for
- Conventional, FHA, USDA and VA loans
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, meet deadlines, demonstrate initiative and exercise good judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Experience with Encompass is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
