Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with experience in food handling and preparation. This position is located in a grocery store setting.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods following food safety guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders
- Operate POS system and cash register for transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Monitor and rotate deli products to ensure freshness
- Assist in stocking and inventory management

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a deli, restaurant, or grocery store setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
