Insulation Technician

Myerstown, PA

• Receive on-the-job training in cellulose Insulation with the goal of stepping into a crew leader position once your training is complete
• Join a growing division in our company that offers an in-demand, cost-effective product
• Lead a crew of 2-4 installing cellulose insulation a recycled, toxin-free, environmentally-friendly insulation product, in new construction and existing homes
• Travel to a new job site nearly every day
• Assess the job site and develop a plan for completing the project
• Install fiberglass batt as needed
• Complete the sealant package by foaming & caulking penetrations in the thermal envelope, such as around windows and doors

We seek an Insulation Technician to step into a leadership role after receiving on-the-job training for blown cellulose insulation and fiberglass batts.

Our ideal candidate would be a driven self-starter with previous construction or insulation experience, a strong desire to learn, and excellent leadership skills.

Our Ideal Insulation Technician :

Experienced : Previous construction or insulation experience is preferred; Experience with framing, drywall, or HVAC would be helpful.

Previous insulation blowing experience is a plus.

• Licensing : A valid Class B CDL or willingness to obtain it with the company's help.
• Leader : enjoys training & coaching others and can lead a team effectively. Focused on efficiency and driven to get the job done
• Problem-Solver : Able to think through unique challenges and situations when something unexpected happens.
• Mechanical Aptitude : Able to troubleshoot and provide basic maintenance on our insulation equipment.
• Active : This is a physically active job that includes carrying materials, climbing ladders, and working in attics; able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
