Come join our growing team! American Choice Home Health is looking for a Home Health Administrator. We specialize in providing Home Care in the home and facilities.

Position Summary: The Home Health Administrator will provide operating leadership for a rapidly growing healthcare services company with operations in Indiana. The recruitment of an experienced Home Health Administrator will be critical to the Company’s ability to continually deliver on its value proposition while simultaneously achieving maximum growth potential. The Home Health Administrator will play a critical role in the company’s expansion and must bring a strong passion for the business, along with an outstanding track record of leading home healthcare services businesses, with a focus on operational excellence, and healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Be available in person or by telecommunication at all times for all aspects of agency operation;
• Direct the operations of the agency;
• Be responsible for compliance with all regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to home health and Medicare (when applicable) issues;
• Establish personnel and employment policies to assure that only qualified personnel are hired; employ qualified personnel by verifying licensure and/or certification (as required by law) prior to employment and annually thereafter; and certify and maintain records to support competency of all allied health personnel;
• Ensure the accuracy of public information materials
• Act as liaison between staff, the group of professional personnel, and the governing body;
• implement an ongoing accurate and effective budgeting and accounting system
• Supervise all patient care activities to assure compliance with current standards of accepted nursing and medical practice;
• Develop and maintain agency policy and procedure manuals that establish and support the highest possible quality of patient care, cost controls, quality assurance, and mechanisms for disciplinary action for infractions;
• Assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as promote the health and safety of employees, patients and the community
• Must have understanding of Indiana Medicaid programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year DOE

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered Indiana RN license
• Minimum 3 years as an RN
• Minimum 1 year experience in health care management/supervisory role
• Minimum 1 year previous experience in home health or hospice

Pay: $61,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year
