Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction material and equipment sales, possess excellent phone etiquette, and thrive in a retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs
- Demonstrate product features and conduct engaging product demos
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stay informed about product knowledge and updates
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Experience in sales is a plus
- Proficiency in retail math and basic math skills
- Ability to multitask in a retail environment
- Prior experience with product demonstrations is beneficial
