The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) position is a mid level position in the construction industry. This position is a great fit for anyone who would enjoy gaining more experience about site safety management and project management.

The SSHO will assist the Project Manager to ensure projects go smoothly and exceed safety expectations. The core responsibilities include:

Conducting daily safety meetings

Perform accident hazard analyses

Create safety plans for subcontractors

Check equipment for any damage that could cause harm

Ensure all personnel have the appropriate PPE

Experience required:

5 years or more in a construction environment

Safety management experience

General computer knowledge

Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat experience preferred

OSHA-30 certification preferred
