Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, providing care and supervision, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
Duties:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to explore and learn
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to create a cohesive curriculum
- Monitor and assess each child's development and provide feedback to parents
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Skills:
- Previous experience in nannying, preschool, or early childhood education is preferred
- First aid certification is a plus
- Strong understanding of childcare principles and practices
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Experience working with students with special education needs is beneficial
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
