We’re looking to hire hard workers who can stand behind the quality of their work and have a positive attitude while doing a good job. Ideal candidates have 1 year kitchen experience, all backgrounds and cuisines welcome.
Great position for culinary students in nearby programs (SVC)
Must be able to work in a team setting as well as take self-initiative, maintaining awareness of our performance and presentation in a semi-open kitchen.
We are closed two days a week, allowing for a consistent schedule if desired. We have a busy summer season so commitment on your part is strongly desired and we cherish reliability.
We are in a semi-remote location, so you will be responsible for your own transportation (near I-5 but unfortunately not a bus stop).
Looking to hire one positions, all kitchen staff helps with dishes & keeping the space clean:
AM/Day shift would include dough making, prep work including use of a deli slicer, actively helping with lunch service (pizza making, oven, salads), running food/bussing, helping the team as needed etc. Earliest start time 8am, latest end time 6pm but typically a 4-6 hour shift.
PM/Night shift is an active pizza cook & oven operator who will help execute service and supplement prep as needed. Hot & cold appetizers, salads and simple desserts are on the menu as well. We close at 8pm most evenings, private events may run later but overall no late nights.
Special events & private catering offer expanded menu options, great opportunity for chefs looking to embrace seasonal fare and local farmers/purveyors.
Opportunity for growth within the company for those that show initiative, requesting at least 3 days/week (20 hours minimum) but ideally looking for folks who want to help build a wonderful food program with a local family business. As we grow, so will perks, benefits and more.
Wage will be negotiated DOE, staff tip pool does include the kitchen as well.
