Job Summary:

• Oversee the installation, repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of a diverse range of large, complex production machines, attachments, and auxiliary equipment.
• Manage Machine Preventive Maintenance (PM) by assigning and closing maintenance records.
• Utilize schematics and specifications to troubleshoot, dismantle, analyze, and diagnose defects in production machines, including plastic injection mold machines and automatic equipment. Perform repairs and replace components such as pumps, motors, relays, and switch motors. Install and maintain machine safety devices and shields.
• Oversee building maintenance and site upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant OSHA, EPA, and Safety documentation pertaining to the Maintenance department.
• Possess experience in PLCs, hydraulics, injection molding machine repairs and maintenance, with some electrical knowledge.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Cell Members to diagnose and repair issues.
• Partner with the quality department to develop effective corrective actions and response plans.
• Directly manage all Maintenance Technicians, including evaluating their skills and recommending adjustments as needed.
• Conduct performance appraisals and address employee corrective actions as necessary.
• Understand, maintain, and enforce the published Appliance Rules/Guidelines.
• Address staffing issues on the shift, including handling call-ins, vacations, and mandated overtime.
• Proficient in using computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exhibit strong verbal communication skills to ensure clear information exchange between shifts.
