Pilgrim Bank is Hiring a Loan Processor Near Mount Pleasant, TX

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting the Loan Department in performing various duties related to consumer, business and real estate loans; generating loan documentation for all types of loans; real estate construction loan advances on lines of credit; boarding loans on the Bank's mainframe computer system; perfecting liens; setting up ticklers for exceptions tracking, report funding exceptions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for generating loan documentation for all types of loans.
  • Prepare early disclosures for consumer real estate loans.
  • Order appraisals and evaluations for all real estate related transaction.
  • Coordinate receipt of appraisals, surveys, flood certificates, title policies, etc for all real estate related transactions.
  • Coordinate real estate closings and funding with title companies, attorneys etc.
  • Send legal documents for recording in public records when necessary.
  • UCC filings at Secretary of State, and county clerk.
  • Upload new loans and renewals to the core processor.
  • Brings all exceptions noted during loan processing to the attention of the Lending Officer to obtain proper approval.
  • Process general ledger entries for new and renewed loans, as well as construction draw requests.
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of loan origination software.
  • Keeps informed of the latest changes and trends in consumer protection laws, mortgage rules/regulations, as well as bank’s loan policies and procedures.
  • Complete annual training over various subjects as required by law or regulation.
  • Follows all other instructions and perform any other job- related duties.
