Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail oriented and experienced UAT Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing user acceptance tests , and coordinating user acceptance testing with business users to ensure the quality and usability of software systems or applications. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers and end-users to understand requirements, create UAT test cases, execute tests, and report findings. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders and end user representatives to understand business requirements and impacts to existing business processes
- Develop and execute UAT test plans, test scenarios and cases based on business user workflows and requirements acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate UAT activities, including scheduling test cycles, engaging ‘real world’ business users for testing, and ensuring UAT timelines are met.
- Coordinate with other UAT testers across business functions including marketing, back-office operations, call center, finance, field service, claims and business development.
- Execute UAT test cases, document test results, and identify and report defects or issues using the defect tracking system.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and retest fixed defects.
- Engage and test alongside end users throughout the UAT process, soliciting their feedback and providing guidance.
- Provide regular status updates on UAT progress, test results, and any issues or risks to project stakeholders.
- Ensure any Business operational changes resulting from new changes are properly identified and communicated to stakeholders.
- Ensure End user training readiness.
- Prepare comprehensive UAT documentation, including test scripts, test data, and test reports.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically QA process and test methodologies.
- Supports the UAT Test Manager and Project Manager in managing functional User Acceptance Testing activities on multiple projects and threads of work, concurrently.
- 5 years of experience with 3 years progressive experience in documenting technology and business systems test plans, test cases and user stories.
- Experience in user acceptance testing of applications and systems like Oracle eBS, Salesforce, Web applications, Cloud solutions is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience in creating UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems and experience in defect management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills – ability to analyze and solve in coordination with IT departments.
- Excellent time management skills – Ability to prioritize workload amongst multiple initiatives with minimal guidance.
