Summary:
Manage and oversee the monthly financial reporting for Virtua Health location.
Financial support to the COO and OMG leaders for analysis of new business opportunities with complete business plans.
Directly responsibility for taking an active role in enhancing financial management tools, reporting and monitoring results across all businesses.
Promotes Virtua and our high standards along with providing leadership and guidance in accomplishing Virtua’s mission and vision.
Position Responsibilities:
• Oversee and directly responsible for the month end close of all businesses and annual budget preparation.
• Financial reporting to include standardization across all businesses.
• Complete weekly financial projections.
• Understand, support and participate in the day-to-day financial activities to support ambulatory businesses.
• Understand and leverage the financial information for the sustained operational viability and improvement of the organization.
• Collaborate with Operational managers to assure financial responsibility is being adhered to in operational areas. Work with managers to identify resource management opportunities.
• Benchmarking to optimize financial results.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
5-7 years healthcare financial management experience including supervisory responsibilities in all aspects of healthcare finance and operations.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
MBA preferred.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
CPA preferred.
