We are seeking experienced insurance collections specialist to join our team. They will assist with:
- Reviewing amounts paid for underpayment
- Contacting insurance companies on outstanding claims
- Handling corrections and resubmissions
- Processing all appeal requests within the time frame required
- Processing approved adjustments
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of medical billing practices and claim reimbursement
- Strong working knowledge of insurance denials and appeals processes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, be detail-oriented and organized
