Position Summary :

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Morrisville, NC is hiring a Sample Coordinator for the Supply Chain Management department. The Supply Chain Management department is responsible for setting and implementing policies relating to the management of materials.

It effectively and efficiently directs the materials management functions to ensure that operations and quality goals for Morrisville are met.

The Supply Chain department manages the materials planning, procurement, warehousing, shipping, sample coordination, stability storage and receiving operations.

It develops and implements appropriate systems and controls to effectively manage the existing operation and meet the needs of the organization.

The Sample Coordinator I receives, stores, and distributes samples for laboratory analysis and maintains all functions pertaining to Primary Reference Materials (PRMs), and complies with divisional and site Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

This is a full-time position : Monday Friday, 8 : 00AM 5 : 00PM.

The Research Triangle Park (RTP) facility is Catalent's Center of Excellence for Analytical Services and is also home to Catalent's Inhalation franchise including product development, clinical and commercial manufacturing for pMDI, DPI and Nasal Sprays.

The Role

• Execute assigned work plan and schedule developed by supervisor or senior team member
• Document sample arrival and complete receipt records for samples and PRMs
• Documentation of controlled drug records
• Review own work to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Participate in customer tours
• Assist in the organization and submission of documentation to the document control unit
• All other duties as assigned;

The Candidate

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 1 year of sample processing experience is highly preferred
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to identify minor quality or compliance gaps during routine work is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical reasoning skills, as well as root cause analysis and problem solving
• Able to write, read, understand, and interpret technical instructions
• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
