Infinity Natural Resources is currently seeking a skilled and motivated GIS Analyst to join our growing team. As a GIS Analyst, you'll play a vital role in optimizing our operations, leveraging your expertise in ArcMap/ArcPro GIS mapping and geodatabase management. Collaborate with passionate teams, provide essential support to GIS users, and spearhead transformative initiatives that shape the future of our industry. This is a full-time position based out of our office located in Morgantown, WV.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to generate maps that support ongoing leasing and operational activities
  • Create, update, and maintain spatial data and attributes unique to the operator, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Manage and integrate external data sources as necessary to enhance operator projects and decision-making processes
  • Implement and execute comprehensive file maintenance protocols to ensure the integrity and efficiency of GIS databases
  • Perform complex database queries to extract and analyze data, providing valuable insights for operational optimization
  • Conduct in-depth spatial analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Conduct thorough research to gather pertinent information required for updating and refining GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Your Background:
  • Associate degree in GIS or related field preferred; bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Minimum 2 years of GIS experience within the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Proficiency in ArcPro mapping, 10.x or newer versions preferred
  • Knowledgeable in GIS software processes and proficient in geodatabase creation, maintenance, and editing
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and GIS systems
  • Experience providing support to GIS users
  • Strong attention to detail in data analysis and management
  • Capable of following written and verbal instructions, workflows, and procedures
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
