Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. As a Registered Nurse in Acute Care, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries. Duties:
- Perform patient assessments and create individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Assist with procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Utilize coding knowledge to accurately document patient information
- Practice case management principles to ensure continuity of care
- Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions
- Provide care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring vital signs
- Adhere to workers compensation laws and regulations

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
- Proficient in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and wound care techniques
- Strong knowledge of acute pain management principles
- Familiarity with case management practices
- Experience in assisted living or ER settings is a plus
