Summary of Position:

Our Parts Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurately maintaining the day-to-day activity of part(s) usage and maintaining accurate inventory count. This role will work closely with our purchasing team, Buyer(s), for ordering, receiving, storing parts, and our accounting team for month end transactions. The organization relies on accurate parts inventory count(s)s for monthly and year-end reporting; therefore, attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential to succeed in this Role.

Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

• Will monitor and maintain the daily activity of parts inventory usage, and maintain accurate records: quantity, type, value of material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies on hand.
• Analyze inventory data including reclassifying incorrect data. Will verify system counts against physical count and research discrepancies, report discrepancies for adjustment approval.
• Can work collaboratively with Buyer(s), Maintenance team and cross-functionally.
• Continually evaluate stock availability
• Organize stock room and utilize proper square footage.
• Perform receiving tasks.
• Will open boxes, check packing slips, and note discrepancies.
• Labeling inventory and storage locations
• Generate monthly inventory report.
• Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CMMS for daily assigned work.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma and 2 years of administrative experience preferred.

· MaintainX experience a plus

· Able to work collaboratively, a team player, work independently and meet strict time deadlines.

· Forklift experience a plus and occasional heavy lifting.

· Knowledge of plumbing fittings, mechanical bearings, and welding supplies a plus.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite, (Excel, Word & Outlook)

· Bilingual, Spanish a plus. Good Oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; kneel; crouch; bend. Able to climb stairs and ladders or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift; and is occasionally required to sit. The employee must be able to push/pull/lift and/or move up 50 pounds.
