Assembler Hand Solderer

A large, privately owned electronics manufacturing company is growing and looking to add level I, II and III Assemblers / Hand Solders.

The company is housed in a 77,000-square-foot facility and has about 120 employees.

Location : Moorpark, CA

Salary : $21-22.50 / hr (DOE)

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position

Schedule : Mon-Thu 6.30 am - 5.00 pm. Off Fri-Sun

Responsibilities :

• Assemble SMT and TH components on various types of printed circuit boards using hand-held soldering stations.
• Install and rework fine-pitch surface mount devices.
• Identify component types and polarities.
• Read and utilize the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings.
• Understand and adhere to ESD & ISO procedures.
• Must be able to solder RoHS and Non-RoHS.
• Rework through a microscope for small components.
• Ensure quality of work and product is maintained to standards.
• Must be capable of performing solder touch-ups.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (experience required)
• IPC-7711 Rework of Electronic Assemblies (experience required)
• Capable of following process on travelers and providing input for DFM. Requirements :
• ITAR Qualified (USA citizen or permanent resident)
• High school or equivalent
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English.
• Must be able to articulate any issues that arise while working on a PCBA.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience and 2 years soldering PCBAs preferred.
• Experience with the use of hot air rework stations.
• Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Benefits :
