Position Summary 

OPEX Corporation is looking for a full time Electrical Assembler to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. We are looking for a worker who is able to commit to a full-time schedule during our day shift that runs from 6:00am through 2:30pm. All interested candidates must have at least a HS diploma or equivalent.

Essential Responsibilities

• Build electrical harnesses, components and motors
• Soldering and wire crimping
• Use multi-meters to perform electrical validation tasks
• Read the provided wiring diagram and complete the assigned project with minimal supervision
• Use hand tools to mechanically assemble electrical fixtures
• Able to lift electrical components weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Complete and maintain daily work logs
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• The ability to configure an electrical harness independently
• Must be able to work full time hours during the day shift
• Must be able to work independently and complete daily and weekly goals
• Must be able to read, interpret, and perform tasks from electrical drawings
• Ability to use hand tools 

Physical/Work Environments

• Worker will be working in a warehouse environment
• Sitting for an extended period of time
• Worker will frequently lift 50 pounds
• Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur while on the job
• Must feel comfortable climbing a ladder in order to retrieve components
