Compensation:

$50,000 - $70,000

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the progress of pre-litigation and litigation matters
  • Manage calendars, including court dates and meeting deadlines
  • Engage with clients
  • Draft correspondence to clients and opposing parties
  • Maintain and organize records, files, and databases
  • Assist attorneys in New Jersey litigation
  • Case management
  • Compose legal documents including motions, complaints, and discovery
  • Possess knowledge of local court rules and regulations
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Insurance Defense, Consumer Fraud, or Business Litigation is a plus
  • Understanding of local court rules and procedures essential for the job
  • Ability to conduct research and investigations
  • Capable of forming and preparing legal documents
  • Excellent verbal and time management prowess
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Profound familiarity with legal terms and regulations
  • Paralegal Certification or Associate’s Degree in paralegal studies (preferably with a Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Initiative and follow-through skills are a must
