PRESIDENT CONTAINER GROUP is Hiring a Transportation Analyst Near Moonachie, NJ
Summary:Work in a fast-paced, diversified environment that includes office and warehouse. Responsibilities will be to route/dispatch trucks with shipments to customer sites and coordinate inbound purchase orders & returns. This individual is proactive, solutions oriented and self-motivated.
Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 2PM – close (10PM)
Friday: 12PM – close (~8PM-10PM)
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2-3 years dispatching experience
- Specialized Knowledge. Experience with WMS (Warehouse management systems). Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, World Ship, Fed Ex and Outlook). Must have experience in preparing Bills of lading.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Navigating shipping software to build optimal routes
- Coordinate/communicate with outbound carriers
- Audit/update customer’s receiving instructions
- Establish and setup new broker relationships.
- Ability to problem solve and proactively resolve issues. Escalate issues as appropriate.
- Well organized, flexible and able to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
