Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
- Design custom kitchen layouts using software such as Sketchup
- Present design proposals to clients and guide them through the selection process
- Provide expert advice on product options, materials, and finishes
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the overall design
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients
- Utilize retail math concepts to create accurate project estimates
- Stay updated on market trends in kitchen design and remodeling
- Maintain organized project documentation and client communication

Requirements:

- Proven experience in kitchen design or related field
- Proficiency in design software like Sketchup
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales
- Knowledge of retail math principles for pricing and estimating projects
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with kitchen remodeling processes and materials
- Comfortable operating a cash register for transactions
